Awareness
A few weeks ago we talked about managing social media and what it means to your business. This week I want to explore how social media now allows us to become much more aware and focused on good causes, fun causes, the wider world and the world on our very own doorstep.
For example, did you know that November is: —
Veg Pledge Month
A push to get us to eat more vegetables and raise money for Cancer Research UK: In effect a double whammy.
We all know that eating fresh veg is good for us, but here at The Lead Generation Group we also know how hard the logistics industry works to make sure the millions of tons of fresh veg is delivered to the shops, supermarkets and markets of the UK. And even if you are one of the millions of people in the country who grows your own vegetables, someone has to deliver the seeds and sets to begin the growing process.
Perhaps you are a small business who sells organic veg; maybe you have a small-holding or an allotment and grow veg for yourself, or maybe you sell at one of the local Farmers' Markets that happen every week. But how do you grow (yes, very much an intended pun!) your vegetable business? How do you make potential customers aware of YOU? Easy, you add one more tool (sorry pun overload today!) to your collection; you use marketing experts to promote and sell your products.
At The LG Group not only do we love our fruit and veg, but we love our customers too, so we are so lucky to be placed slap bang in the middle of your business and those whose businesses help supply your customers! We don't mind being the filling in the marketing sandwich!
When you are a small, start-up business in a crowded market, you need all the help you can get to make your company stand with its head above the parapet; You many not necessarily want to send your home-grown, organic vegetables to the far-flung corners of the United Kingdom, but you do need local people to know you are there, ready and able to supply their needs. You are an expert in growing your vegetables, but you are not expected to be an expert in sales and marketing. Of course, many small business owners try to be both: money is usually tight when you are a start-up, but every so-called expert will tell you,: "set aside a marketing budget so you can leave it to the professionals".
Even if you only have a few pounds a month to begin with, we at The Lead Generation Group will happily talk through the best way to utilise your marketing budget and get you bringing in customers from Day One. We don't make sales and marketing a scary business, or like the best displays on Bonfire Night (see what I did there!) give you a load of flashes and bangs and fancy sparkles that look spectacular for about 10 seconds and then fizzle out and are never seen again.
Like your vegetables, we plan, plant, grow and nurture your business to ensure a bumper crop year after year after year.
