Champagne Campaign
Over the last few weeks, we have talked about branding and marketing, and this got me thinking about a specific campaign to promote services or goods.
I used the word Champagne in the title because generally when you name a brand of bubbly, such as Moet, Christal, Bollinger etc., people automatically know what they are. But how often do these wine makers have advertising campaigns? To my knowledge — never!
Equally we have all heard of Coca-Cola, but that doesn’t stop them having a marketing campaign every year around Christmas time: a giant of a company with the most famous soda brand in the world, yet they still feel the need to remind us of their products.
So how would it benefit a smaller business to have a marketing campaign? What benefits would it bring to your company?
At The Lead Generation Group we specialize in doing just that; we can put together a marketing push for your brand to make you stand out from the crowd — even in a crowded market. We can make your Coca-Cola moment come true.
Every so often the world needs to be reminded of how wonderful you and your services/products are. A marketing campaign will do just that, and it can be as big (globally) or small (more localized targeting) as you want it to be. And that’s what we do for you.
Whether you are Fred the Farrier from Fordingham or Mega Meg from Mexico selling horseshoes to the local equine set, or Meg's Mega Tacos that are about to be launched on the world-wide stage, the LG Group will be your champion.
We love that look of wonder when we start putting a campaign together for a client; they've given us the brief and then allowed us creative freedom to maximize their potential. As the copy begins to take shape they make that discovery that they never knew their business could be so effective and enticing to others. That's the beauty of outsourcing your marketing to the experts.
Never underestimate the power of marketing.
I bet if I asked you to name an advert that sticks in your mind you would come up with several, and depending on your age, you might come up with:
- For mash get Smash
- It's the real thing, always . . .
- "Nicole" "Papa"
- Every little helps . . .
And I’ll leave you to fill in the blanks!
Whether you want cute and cuddly, emotional (think John Lewis at Christmas), hard-hitting or downright funny, the power of an advertising campaign can never be underestimated.
But before you reach for the bolly, darling, remember, some products just don't need anything more than a mention, whilst others are in your face so they always remain ahead of their competitors. Most of us just want to reach out to our local customers and make sure we are in the forefront of their minds when choosing a logistics company, a reliable supplier or, in The Lead Generation's case, a banging marketeer!
