The beginning of July brings with it the greatest tennis tournament in the world. The best players arrive, the crowds queue for hours on end for Centre Court and those who simply want to be a part of it all, sit in the unrelenting heat or the relentless downpour of rain, huddled under their brollies and rain coats, watching the big screen while the rest of us just watch from the comfort of our own homes.

Tons of strawberries are eaten, enough cream and champagne to fill a swimming pool are consumed and astronomical sums of money changes hands.

It's THE place to be seen.

Those of us who are partial to a bit of sport join the throngs – usually from the cheap seats in our living rooms – and close the curtains against the glare of the sun to get our annual fix.

One thing we appreciate at The Lead Generation Group is how HUGE this brand is. It is the juggernaut of the tennis calendar.

Like so many of our big sporting events it's a place where you can be seen and along with that goes the perception that you are successful. Be seen and your brand will be boosted. These type of huge sporting tournaments are a very lucrative marketing opportunity because no matter how big your brand is, there is always room for more exposure and more sponsorship.

Sometimes, it's easy to forget that, at the end of the day, You are your business. You are your brand.

Of course we all recognise a logo or a strapline or a well-used phrase, but above everything else you are the representative of your business and, therefore, you are the brand.

Think in terms of some of the top tennis players – past and present. Top companies want these people to endorse their products and services.

Roger Federer – Gillette, Moët & Chandon, Louis Vuitton

Emma Reducanu - Tiffany & Co, HSBC, Porsche, Dior

Novak Djokovic - Lacoste, Kia Motors, Head

Do these players and ex-players match the brands they endorse? That's one for your to decide, but take Federer for example; on the court (and off) he exudes class, sophistication and quality. What do the brands he endorses want us to believe about their products?

Even the biggest brands in the world still need their names and their products out there so people are constantly reminded of who and what they are. This kind of duel marketing works for both parties, even in the sporting world when tennis professionals are just that, paid, professional sportspeople.

The LG Group, at least at the present time, is not in partnership with any of the top tennis seeds, but we do partnership with businesses like yours. We know how to promote you and your brand. We get you to the top of Google: We make sure that your business is out there.

One day, you too, might be a big a brand as the one that needs no actual mention down in SW19.
