Remember. . .

November is always a poignant month, one of remembrance, reflection and for many, celebration with Bonfire night and Diwali, but like millions of others, The Lead Generation Group Ltd reflects and remembers those who gave their lives to give us our freedom.

On Sunday 10th November this year we will take time to remember all the wars that took the lives of so many men, women, children and animals. In London crowds will gather at the Cenotaph to pay their respects alongside our politicians and most importantly, our veterans and serving members of the Armed Forces. This Sunday in November is always a public display of remembrance but sadly, there are still conflicts raging around the world today as it seems two world wars weren't enough for some.

November 5th has just been celebrated but there are those who remember this for other reasons: Robert Catesby and his band of men were dedicated Catholics in a world that didn't want them practising their religious beliefs and they were persecuted. And there are those who sill fear celebrations such as Bonfire Night and Diwali because they are still suffering from having fought in more recent conflicts, and are suffering from PTSD. Sad to think that not only are our animals terrified by the celebrations, but men and women too just want nights like these to be over and done with. . .

And this November all business, large or small, are left pondering the effects of the first budget from our new government, and the costs that will impact on their ability to remain in profit or, sadly, whether or not they can afford to retain their staff.

The Lead Generation Group Ltd feels that this month give us much to remember and reflect upon; America has chosen a new(ish) president and many will be wondering how much his re-appointment will either stabilise or, the biggest fear, de-stabilise the world. Again, this result will mean an anxious time for many businesses and economies across the world.

However, for many of us we will put all these political worries aside on Monday 11th November at 11:00am, when millions of us will pause our day for two short minutes and sit, or stand, in silence as Big Ben strikes. As an ex-solider myself, I will certainly be pausing my day just for those brief moments to remember so many who don't have that privilege but have left us a world where there is now such much freedom of choice and expression.
